Payment Fee Policy

Fees are due at the time of Enrollment

Beginning Summer 2025, students enrolled in college credit classes, who do not pay their fees or make financial arrangements with their home college to cover their enrollment fees by the published 鈥淒ue Date鈥 will be dropped from their class(es).  Enrollment fees include CA residents, Nonresident tuition, and F1 International fees.

To view your payment 鈥淒ue Date(s),鈥 log into the (Mycollege.laccd.edu) and click the 鈥淪tudent Account鈥 tile followed by the 鈥淎ccount Services鈥 tab. Under the Account Services tab, select 鈥淐harges Due.鈥

Enrollment may be canceled for some or all courses unless payment is made in full or financial arrangements are established before the published "Due Date," which is the day before the disenrollment date.

Students will not be dropped from their class(es) if they:

  • Are awarded a California College Promise Grant (CCPG fee waiver).
  • Have a government-agency-sponsored Third-Party Contract and the College Business Office has received confirmation of the anticipated aid, and that payment is pending. (for example, VA Ch 31, 33, Dept of Rehabilitation or Embassies)
  • Have anticipated financial aid sufficient to cover ALL their fees.
  • Have a college-approved Payment Plan Contract.
  • Are eligible for the Los Angeles College Promise (LACP) program.
  • Have past due or current fee balances less than $100.

Noncredit classes are free and are not subject to disenrollment

*Students enrolled in classes after the term begins, will be assigned  a payment 鈥淒ue Date鈥 48 hours after enrollment. If fees are not paid or financial arrangements made on or before the due date, a 鈥淗old鈥 will be placed on the record preventing future enrollment.

*Student enrolled in classes after the term starts will not be dropped from the class(es) for non-payment, instead future enrollment will be prevented.

The following students will not be disenrolled from classes for non-payment:

  • Students awarded a California College Promise Grant (CCPG fee waiver),
  • Student who have anticipated financial aid (state and/or Federal aid),
  • Students with a third-party contract (i.e. Veterans, Department of Rehabilitation, Embassies)
  • Students who have paid the $25 fee to set-up a Payment Plan,
  • Students who are eligible for the LA College Promise Program will not be disenrolled from classes for non-payment.

To avoid disenrollment, ensure payment is received by the published "Due Date" in your or arrange financial assistance at your home college.

Payment plans are offered to assist students with paying fees owed, including Enrollment Fees, Out-of-State Nonresident Tuition Fees, and F-1 Nonresident Tuition Fees.

We highly recommend that you apply for financial aid first before you apply for a payment plan, in case you qualify for a fee waiver or grant. Entering into a payment plan allows you to spread your education expenses over smaller monthly installments. It is not a loan program, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and no credit check is required. Think of it like a lay-away plan.

To prevent being dropped from your class(es) for non-payment, set-up a payment plan and pay the $25 nonrefundable fee on or before the published payment 鈥淒ue Date.鈥

Payment plans must be set-up through the  and are available prior to the beginning of Fall and Spring terms. We do not offer payment plans for the Winter or Summer intersessions.

No, noncredit classes are free and are not subject to disenrollment.  You will only be dropped from the credit class if the mandatory enrollment fee or financial arrangements are not made prior to the published payment due date.

Students who have applied for Federal and/or state aid and have anticipated aid showing in their student portal will not be disenrolled. To verify if you have anticipated aid, log into the and click the 鈥淔inancial Aid鈥 tile.

Log into your and click the 鈥淪tudent Account鈥 tile followed by the 鈥淎ccount Services鈥 tab. Under the Account Services tab, select 鈥淐harges Due.鈥 If you qualified for a College Promise Grant (fee waiver) your enrollment fees will show a $0 balance.

The Financial Aid staff at the nine 小蓝视频 Colleges are committed to providing you with the best financial aid package available to help you achieve your educational goals. They will assist you in applying for financial aid, including fee waivers, grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans. 

If you are a U.S. citizen, eligible non-citizen, permanent resident or an asylee, T visa holder, parolee, or refugee, you may qualify for both Federal and state aid.  You should complete a .

The Los Angeles College Promise (LACP) serves first-time college students enrolled full-time with the goal of transferring, completing a degree and/or a workforce certificate.

Promise students qualify for:

  • Dedicated Counseling and Support

Veterans, current military and/or dependents should visit their home campus Veterans Resource Center (VRC) after applying the college to inform the School Certifying Official (SCO) of their intention to take classes. Depending on eligibility, VA education benefits, DoD Tuition Assistance and/or the CalVet Fee Waiver may cover some or all of a student's tuition. 

If using VA education benefits, submit your certification request as soon as you register for classes.  VA Certifications are not automatic and must be requested each term that you intend to use VA education benefits.  Contact the VRC at your home campus for more information about the VA Certification process.  

 If using DoD Tuition Assistance or the CalVet Fee Waiver, notify the SCO at your home campus immediately.  The VA Certification process is not required for students using TA or the CalVet Fee Waiver. 

All veterans, current military and dependents who complete the VA Certification process through their home campus, or informs the SCO that they will be using Tuition Assistance or the CalVet Fee Waiver, will be bypassed by the disenrollment process regardless if their third-party contract was received by the College鈥檚 Business office.

The Associated Student Organization/Union or Government (ASO/U/G) is a student-run organization that represents the interests of students.

The ASO/U/G provides various resources and services to support student success, including academic counseling, cultural and recreational events, and opportunities for community service and volunteerism. Through its diverse array of clubs and organizations, it encourages students to explore their interests, connect with like-minded peers, and make a positive impact on campus and beyond.

Yes. You can reenroll in your dropped class(es) if the class is still open. You can also place yourself on the waitlist if space is available. You will be issued a new due date after you reenroll and you are highly encouraged to either pay your enrollment fee or make financial arrangement before the published due date to prevent disenrollment from happening again.
