The Academic Accommodations Center is a program on campus providing services to students with disabilities. This program has been serving students since 1974. Students who have a verified disability may be eligible for approved Academic Accommodations. The Academic Accommodations Center also provides Academic Counseling services, test proctoring, ASL interpreters, and alternative media options such as smart pens and audio books.

Academic Accommodations Center/DSPS Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
- Students will participate in interactive meetings to develop educational plans and goals, review progress, and establish accommodations.
- Students will understand the process and how to activate accommodations on a semester by semester basis and update their student educational plan.
- Students complete necessary test proctoring forms and make appointments for taking their tests via in person or by emailing or AAC office.
- Students identify their educational limitations by providing verification of disability from a licensed medical professional and learning about approved academic accommodations.
