75 Years of Weather Wisdom
The Pierce College Weather Station marked its 75th anniversary on November 14, earning a NOAA recognition award for its contributions to climate science. Established in 1949, the station has tracked everything from record-breaking heat to rainfall shifts and serves as a one-of-a-kind outdoor classroom.
Pierce professor Vincent Whipple shared his Native American experience and the importance of the college鈥檚 Native American Studies program in a CBS/KCAL feature.
