GEOLOGY

GEOLOGY ROCKS!!! In fact it is the study of rocks, the earth, and the processes within the earth. (Not to be confused with Geography which studies the location and distribution of landforms and people.) Geology is an essential science for understanding how the earth formed, why we see the rocks we do and, and why we have earthquakes and volcanoes. It is essential for many modern needs such as water and oil exploration.
