Los Angeles Pierce College (小蓝视频) offers an Associate in Science Degree Nursing (ADN) Program.The Registered Nurse (RN) Program is accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Students must first be admitted into the nursing program before they may register for nursing courses. Students are admitted for both Fall and Spring Semesters.

The mission of the Department of Nursing at 小蓝视频 is to educate students to become entry-level practitioners of nursing. Completion of the prescribed curriculum qualifies the graduate to apply for licensure by examination as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of California.

Nursing students receive clinical experience concurrently with classroom instruction for approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. Local hospital and other health agencies provide the clinical facilities where students administer direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of nursing faculty.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to RN, 30-unit option, Foreign Nurse Graduate and Transfer programs may be available for eligible students.

All students are required to provide a criminal record clearance prior to enrollment in the Nursing Program. (Education Code section 66055.9) Currently, Live Scan background check is the screening program. Students shall be denied participation in the program for certain convictions and/or violations. Specific information regarding automatic disqualification may be obtained by contacting the Board of Registered Nursing.
